How do you vet vendors?
We treat every vendor match with the same rigor as making a C-level hire in our own companies.
Each vendor in our network is vetted on three core criteria:
Product Experience – Have they executed this specific function or solved this problem before?
Industry Experience – Do they understand your sector’s dynamics, constraints, and opportunities?
Track Record – Can they show clear outcomes from past engagements?
We also check references and evaluate for execution readiness, data transparency, and cultural fit. If we wouldn’t trust them to run a core function inside our own portfolio, we don’t introduce them to you.
How many vendors will you introduce me to?
Usually between 1 and 3. We don’t believe in overwhelming you with options — we believe in fit. You’ll get curated matches who are scoped to your exact need, so you can make fast, confident decisions.
What if the vendor isn’t a fit?
No problem. You’re never obligated to work with a vendor we introduce. If something’s not quite right — from skillset to chemistry — we’ll find a better fit fast.
How fast can I get matched?
Most matches are made within 24–48 hours of our scoping call. For highly specialized needs, we may take a little longer — but we’ll always communicate timelines clearly.
Is this really free? What’s the catch?
Yes — Claymore Connect is 100% free for operators and portfolio companies. We never charge clients, and we never allow vendors to inflate pricing to cover fees. Our model is simple: we only win when both sides win.
Do you stay involved after the match?
Yes. We don’t disappear after the intro. We stay close to make sure the engagement is going smoothly, and we’ll step in if expectations aren’t being met.
